Enable Security tab in your folder's properties for authenticating the permission in your windows.

Enable Security tab in your window on the folder's properties.
1. open Run box or press [Win]+[R] and write secpol.msc

2. follow the root as show in the images or go to.
Security Settings >> Security Options

3Network Access : Sharing and security model for local accounts.
double click on this property and change it with Guest only to Classic local user authenticate.

4. click on apply and OK.
Open your folder placed in your window and explore properties, you will see a new Security tab enable where you can set privileges for accessing the that perticular folder.

How TO Change Download Folder Location In Win. 7

All of us love downloading files from the internet. But by default the downloads folder in Windows 7 resides at “C:\Users\User-name\Downloads”. Since C drive is dedicated to Windows so we must not keep our files in this drive. Also in most cases this drive is of less size. So to permanently move this folder to some other location or other drive we can change the location easily and all the old files will get moved to the new location and the new downloads will automatically be downloaded at the new location

Steps To Change Downloads Folder Location In Windows 7 :


1. Open Computer and in the left pane select Downloads under the favorite menu.

2. Right click in the empty area and select properties.

3. Select the Location tab and enter the location where you want to store your download files. You can also browse the location by pressing the Move button.

4. It will ask for moving the old files , if you want to move all the old files to the new location then select yes else select no.

How to Shut Down Faster in Windows 7

If you are windows 7 user, then you obvious know that windows 7 starts up so fast but it does not shut down as fast as it should be. It needs to close all background applications and operating procedures and the shuts down the computer. Let us see how we can make Windows 7 to shut down faster.


Click on Start button and search “regedit” and open regedit.exe. Now go to the below path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control In the right side window find the WaitToKillServiceTimeout key and double click to edit it. Change the default 12000 (12 seconds) to 2000 (2 seconds) or above.

Click on OK button. Now you are done! Restart your computer to change effect. This may help speed up your shutdown if you have any such services running.

Step1: In Windows 7  press Windows key+R and type as “regedit

Step 2: It will open the Registry Editor of  your Windows 7

Step 3: After opening Registry edit browse the following path in reght side bar of registry editor
The Path to go: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesUSBSTOR”

Step4: Then right click the registry “Start” which is rectangled in red color in the below screenshot of registry editor

Step:5 Right Click “Start” and Click modify
  • To enable USB ports: change the value from “4? to “3?
  • To disable USB ports: change the Value for “3? to “4?
finaly restart your system.

[Windows] + up arrow OR [Windows] + down arrow     Maximized and restores the selected window.

Windows 7 Hack : Add Folder To “Send To” Menu

In this post I’ll show you simple windows 7 hack that will save you lot of time you spend sending and organizing files in windows 7 . This hack allows you so send files to any folder directly from right click menu
STEP 1
Create a shortcut for folder that want to ass to “Send To” Menu

STEP 2
Copy/Paste your shortcut to :
C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

 AppData is a hidden folder . To unhide go to Organize -> Folder and search options -> View (tab) > check “Show hidden files, folder, drives”

and that is it!

You’ll want to find Command Prompt in the start menu (or search for it),
And then right-click on it and choose Run as administrator. (very important)

Next you’ll simply type in this command:
     slmgr -rearm

Within a few seconds you’ll normally see this dialog show up, saying that the command has completed successfully, at which point you’ll want to reboot
