Click on Start button and search “regedit” and open regedit.exe. Now go to the below path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control In the right side window find the WaitToKillServiceTimeout key and double click to edit it. Change the default 12000 (12 seconds) to 2000 (2 seconds) or above.
Click on OK button. Now you are done! Restart your computer to change effect. This may help speed up your shutdown if you have any such services running.
